Hello and welcome to you today. I hope you have been having lots of crafty fun since last time.
Today i'm here with a post for
It's all about Butterflies over at IndigoBlu this month so today i've revamped a boring birdbox with yummy paints and gorgeous stamps.
I have used the stunning Victorian Garden stamp set, to change the colour of the bird box I gave it a light coat of Steam Whistle paint I didn't prime the box before so the wood grain would show through.
To add a few more grain effects I added some White GeeSso good with a scoochy.
Once dry I stamped the flowers in different colour paint all around the bottom the of the birdbox in Leather Corset, Rouge, Olive Waistcoat, Warm Tan and White GeeSso Good. I had a piece of spritzed card left over from my previous project with Lime Marmalade, Costal Walk and Marshmellow. So I stamped one of the Butterflies several times with Versamark and added fine embossing powder and heat embossed them before cutting them out.
I stamped the sentiment onto the front in Black Archival Ink and added a Butterfly inside the birdbox and arranged a few more around with glue gel.
I hope you like it.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, pop on over to the Blog for lots more inspiration.
