Hello and welcome today's is my turn to DT post for IndigoBlu i've used the new Winter Florals which I adore.

Firstly I stamped and heat embossed the Anemone from the Anemone and Daisy Set with Vesafine Onyx Black & clear emboing powder.

The clear powder gives the stamped imagine a shine and also a good line to colour upto.

I coloured the flowers with good quality water colour pencils.

I used two shades of green and two shades of yellow along with an orange.

I stamped the sentiment from Dreams Come True set and heat embossed it with clear powder.

To finish it off I added a mat to one side of black card before matting onto a blank 7x7 white card blank.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to you today, I hope you have been having lots of crafty fun.

It's my turn today as DT for IndigoBlu.
Here is what i've created along with a step by step, hope you like it and find a little inspiration along the way.

First off I stamped the IndigoBlu Peony from the
Marigold & Peony Stamp Set three times with versafine and the heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I wanted more of a subtle colour so I watered down some
Stroke of Midnight paint then added just water onto the flower then with a little of the watered down paint on a brush just touched an area of a petal and the paint will follow where the water is. I like this effect as it gives a much more shabby apperance to your flowers. I did the same with the leaves and Olive Waistcoat paint.

Whilst the flowers were drying I stamped the Thanks sentiment from Dreams Come True set with black versafine and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and added a few splatters of Stroke of Midnight.

Once all the flowers were dry I added some
Lemon Meringue paint to the centres and shaped them just a little before arranging them onto the card front with glue gel.

Peony Posey - IndigoBlu

Hello and welcome to you today, it is my turn to post for IndigoBlu and this month its all about flowers. I've decided to mix some older stampswith some newer ones this month.

For the main image I have used Peony Posey stamp which is a stunner and perfect for all occasions, teamed with Grandma Teacup.

For the background I painted some IndigoBlu stamping card with Grandma's Teacup. Peony Posey was stamped with Flitterglu and I added Wow super fine white embossing powder before heating it. Flitterglu is brilliant for embossing powder as it stays tacky until you adhere something to it, which means you can leave it and come back to it when your ready, be sure to clean your stamp in cold water straight away. To finish the background I took a scoochy and some white GeeSso Good and dragged it down the card,

The sentiment is from Mindfullness #1 which I stamped with Stroke of Midnight paint by adding some paint to the phat foam and using it like an inkpad. Make sure you clean your stamp straight away.

I then mixed some Stroke of Midnight paint with water and added some to the flowers to add some contrast to Grandma's Teacup.

I stamped and heat embossed part of the Peony Posey Stamp again to layer with glue gel to add some more dimension. Finally I added some Stroke of Midnight to the edge of the card.

Thanks so much for taking the time to pop by today and your lovely comments.
