Hello and welcome to you today.
Wow we are already mid way through April
Time flies when your having fun.
Today i'm here with some Mid Way DT Inspiration for the
Imagination Crafts Challenge
The April Theme is
Anything Goes
We have had some fabulous entries already but then who wouldn't want to win themselves a huge
£40 voucher to spend on Imagination Crafts Products.
At the beginning of the month my inspiration was simply elegant so this time I thought i'd go vibrant.
This was made using the
Imagination Crafts MacIntosh Panel Stencil
To make
Take an 8x8 white blank card and mat & layer black card on top.
Take a slightly smaller white card and distress with your distress inks, i've used Picked Raspberry - Peacock Feathers - Salty Ocean.
Give your card a quick dry with a heat gun and then flick water onto it and re-dry with a heat gun, to reveal lighter specks.
Now place your stencil in the middle of you card and using Black soot distress ink and cut and dry foam rub over the open area of the stencil. Now do the same on both sides to reveal the pattern.
With a craft knife make a cut either side of the middle the width of your ribbon, now thread your ribbon through the cuts and stick to the back of your card and mat onto you black card.
To finish off add a sentiment stamp and gems these used are from my crafty stash.
I look forward to seeing your entry
Pop on over to the BLOG to be inspired by the Talented DT
