This is made from simple stamping and embossing with matting and layering

I wanted this card to show how you can use papers from your stash with stamps and that if your not confident with making backgrounds from stamps you don't have to, which means you can still stamp :). Hopefully it will then build your confidence to have fun stamping everything. It really is so much fun.

A few little tips for new stampers

To get the shiny button on the backing paper is really easy to do, all you have to do is stamp the little button stamp in the set with the Versamark ink pad and then add clear embossing powder and heat it up which then gives you a raised shiny button. To get the 3 mannequins in a row all you have to do is stamp then mannequin onto a large post it note and cut it out then put it in on the backing paper where you want the center mannequin to be which is called masking, take a brown ink pad and stamp the mannequin to both sides of the post in note, then remove the post it note and add your clear embossed kraft card mannequin which has been rasied with foam pads that then means the center mannequin stands out from the other two. 

I have a great idea for this stamp set so please look out for it.

A little bit of Docrafts

Hello all firsty let me thank you for popping by it really does mean alot. Also let me apologise for not posting for a little while but things have been hetic here with builders and getting a new part time job which has been full time for the last two weeks, its to fund my craft addiction lol. 

I have had some exciting news also that for the next 6 months i'm so lucky to be part of the Design Team for Docrafts Creativity Members club. I'm so very excited and have also received my first package of goodies to get started......

Today i'm going to share with you two cards the 1st is made from Docrafts free dowloads for craft members, as members we get so many extra's and we also get a daily sketch to give us inspiration which really helps if you get stuck, but they are also great to follow, a little tip I have is to print them out and store them in a folder to look back at, thats what I do with mine.

This was made using the Tea Party download and the layout was from one of the daily sketches.

This was made using Docrafts Portobello Road Digital Designer dvd rom, papermania black card, papermania black star gems and some ribbon from my crafty stash.

I really would be lost without my Digital Design Disc's as they are packed with so many great items to print, which means i'm never stuck looking for papers as I can just print them as i need them.
